I picked up an alloy radiator off eBay and we’ve had to make a few adjustments to fit. Quality seems good, but obviously won’t know until she is up and running.

Got a call from the tank restorer, first coat of paint goes down tomorrow and should be done in 2 weeks!

Bit of an update, exhausts back from the Powdercoater, but more exciting is the tank is done. Haven’t had a chance to pick it up yet but looks amazing and such a difference.

It’s been a couple of weeks and we’re on the home stretch now.

All electrics finished, tank picked up, exhausts on, and waiting on the weather to clear to paint the fairings.

Did you paint the wheels yourself or father in law. Only interested how you managed to get a good clean line between the black and polished edges. Did you just mask it up with tape? Not sure if there is a forum topic on how to achieve that look.

The father in law had the fun job with that. But it was all masked and sprayed after spending a couple of days cleaning and polishing. Pretty much a solid 3 days in total just on the rims.

Line tape is your friend with wheels. 6mm stuff off ebay or the paint shop suppliers is easy to find and good value. Very flexible and easy to use.

Also, not sure how to post videos but we had the first start yesterday too. Need to sort the carbys as one is leaking, but she’s another step closer.

Time to get some colour on these fairings!
Pretty much last piece of the puzzle and then she’s off for a blue slip.
