basically i want a spare engine i can rebuild or have the parts ready to swap over when needed. im having alot of trouble from bike shops sourcing parts, no one wants to know about the bike. wots the problem?
i want to do a clutch rebuild, and bottom end overhaul.
looks like i will have to go overseas. my bikes running very well so far, i just want to build up some spares for future use.

I would suggest trying a Ducati shop and see if they can help.

I might be able to help with parts direct from Italy. I *think* Jeram still has his engine??

Ducati's are imported by NF imports which have nothing to do with the Paul Feeney Group who import MV, Cagiva and Husqvarna. I am told they like the 3 month wait on parts.

Oh I forgot to put on the other post I would treat anything on tjtuning forum as complete bullshit posted by some spotty 16 yr old.

Feeney Group dropped MV about 6 months ago. There is curently no MV importer for Australia. Not sure about Cagiva, haven't seen any new ones in Australia for years. Feeney group is reportedly concentrating on Husquarna.

also, 125ccsportbikes.com has a mad mito section

there is a bloke on there by the name of Collywog and he knows his way around a mito.

he has a shed full of mito bits and knows what cylinders from what years are the best and which crankcases and carbs are the best from what year.

cagiva were throwing out all the SP mito parts a couple years back to do a tax dodge so collywog bought a trailer load of trick SP bits and they are very trick racing bits :D
