nope, less than 12 months after the bike was in the film my old man bought it as he had just grenaded his z900 turbo (first turbo streetbike in aus) and was fed up with it.

unfortunately my old man didnt realise he was sitting on a gold mine and hacked it up and turned it into a 9.8 sec dragbike which held the record for many years right up untill ANDRA killed the 'superbike' class

Watched it on Blu-Ray and time hasn't been to kind to it. Aust Muscle Car mag has had some brilliant articles on the whole thing mainly focusing on the cars.
Apparently the fellow that built all the cars was offered a slice of the box office in leiu of payment ............a decision he's still regretting.
