A good 350LC should want to flip itself in half in first gear if swingarm etc is standard, and from 6500 you should REALLY feel the powerband kick in.

I'd maybe get the pipes cleaned out.. they may be very coked up.
Where abouts in Sydney are you? You're welcome to come over and compare with mine if you like.

I'm in Winston Hills, so we can't be too far apart.
If I had a spare set of pipes I could have thrown them your way so you could test.

There are a couple of ways for you to clean the pipes. You can have someone throw them in a fire for you, or you can seal the end of the pipes and try caustic soda (draino) in them for a while maybe with some nuts and bolts in there to help break up the gunk.

I'd undo the baffles and try to pull them out.. that's the smallest part of the bike and the most likely to be blocked.

have a dyno chart at home with a 350 we cobbled together on the friday before a race meeting with some crap 'NOSPEED" chambers............58HP peak at 9500 and at 9600 about 20HP.
Dyno's and spark plugs know the answers

Mine were made by Rick Roberts.
Not sure if he still wants to make pipes.

To be honest, I'm not SUPER happy with them, as there is a fairly big cutout in them for chain clearance.

Lozza on this forum (2tinstitute) might be willing to make some for you.
I'd like to get a new set made for mine as I think it might be a bit down on power because of it.

Dont bother cleaning out your pipes yourself I take mine to Redi Strip in Blacktown around $70 they come back clean as a whistle. Then re-cote them with Motopro engine enamel satin its what Rick uses.

Ive got 10 pairs of chambers if you want a set they are oem,350 chambers have a 0 stamped on the inside of the rear mount near the bolt hole.If you cant see it then they are 250 ones which could be your problem.

Check your jetting and timming also

Ant, I didn't think there was much (if any) difference between the 250 and 350 pipes?

Still waiting to see that 500 of yours  The latest incarnation of that 350 has the Ignitech on it. Can't wait to have a play on the dyno with that. Got laser cut segments ready to got for LC/RZ's

Mate you can have 3 sets for $100 they are the factory pipes, however out of 10 sets im sure we could find some 350 ones.

Hybrid they are different from memory the rear cone is smaller on the 250.

Rz is different from Lc the header is longer hence the need for filing out the slot when fitting them to Lc's from memory its 6mm.

The difference between Rz and Lc has been confirmed by Rick.

My street chambers designed by me and Rick using the oem chambers to the belly section work awesome they are a great compromise between Oem and racing chambers.

Yeah I want some new ones for the 500 too, but I've had some fueling issues with the injection I've had to sort out. I think either the fuel was vapourising before it got to the fuel pump, or the fuel pump was shitting itself when it got warm.
I've now replaced the fuel pump and put a heat shield above the top pipes as well as having the pipes partially wrapped, so hopefully that cures it.

The wiring in the front also needs cleaning up, but I'm having trouble talking myself into doing that, coz I don't know where to start
