I know there a HP advantage with a big 'still air box' but is there an additional advantage of putting the Carbs in there as well?

They will be fine like that but may rub the frame. If cones will fit you could try them I guess? I have mock ups of the cones I used if you want to drop by and pick them up to try for clearance?

LOL, well... I did them because there is a huge range of K&N filters and I was trying to fit massive filters in the LC, where there is a shock and a battery also in that space. The battery I could have moved (but it proved unnecessary) the shock... not so much LOL! So I made up some mock ups just to see what would work as I didnt trust my eye measure. youre welcome to have them if you like but they are nothing that special. As it was when they landed they still hit the frame slightly on the sides but only just, its the curse of large carbs in these bikes.

For those that suggest the standard airfilter, on an LC that would just not work with big carbs, on the RZ it might if you have a standard subframe etc.
