Finally my KOSO cluster arrived from Germany after being posted in September 06.
Its smaller than I was expecting, but pretty good none the less.

As promised in the Anodising thread.. a pic of my painted frame.
Its painted in plain 2pack black with a 30% mix of a product to dull the shine.

Put the chassis back together today, including the built engine.

Made up the swingarm bushes so the backend is right to go now.

Hacked up a 1998 Kawasaki ZX9 sidestand to fit. It needs finishing off.

Well I hacked up the seat unit a bit today to try and make it fit.
Not 100% happy with it, but it looks okay.
I've started making the sub frame which you can't see underneath.

Image

The rear looks way too high to me. Don't know what I'm going to do about that yet.

Latest pic. Its sitting lowered on a jack at the moment.
Looks much better at that height.

Image

Need a bit more work on the subframe. Mostly to get the right height for the seat. Need to build up a tray for the seat unit to sit on. Also need to make some new mounts for the seat unit seeing as the standard ones had to be cut off.

Swear word will obviously go when its ready to be painted

Had a few options for silencers, but decided on TZMikes ones.
Unfortunately, he didn't have plain black available so I have gone for the red ones. I guess I will just have to wait and see what they look like with the yellow paint.
I also modified an R1 shock linkage to get the height right, so the suspension is working now. Fit new grips and o-ring chain.

Been a while since the last update.
I really havent done much in the last couple of months.

Picked up the rest of the fairings today though.

Image

Should be getting the rest of the pipes next week thanks to a very generous fellow, so hopefully things can keep moving now.

I spent yesterday drilling holes and sorting the fairing clips.
I also made up the custom bolt to hold the extended kicker in place.
Thats all I did over a 4 day weekend

Mounted the fairing on today. Only the nose is mounted fully, as I'm awaiting some parts from Airtech to connect the main fairing to the frame and also to mount up the windscreen.

I've also now finished and painted the subframe, and the rear pipes are now properly mounted.

Craig, what did you want to see in particular of under the fairings?

Haven't done much in the past month or two.
I got some parts I've been waiting on from airtech though.

I got the seat pads, the windscreen bolts, and the fairing quick clips.

And some pics of the fairings fully mounted and screen in.
