Motul is as good as any. You cant go wrong with it. Elf is harder to get, I get mine from a kart shop.

I think that the cheap oil of today would be no better than the best oil of 30 years ago. They would not have the best additives and would have less of the additives that they do have or they would cost the same or close to it not 1/3 of the price of todays best oils. Just heard that one of my mates that im riding over with to the GP with has won the competition to wave the checkered flag to finish the race this year. Lucky bastard. I wonder if he needs someone to hand him the flag.
