Yeah, I think it is gonna cost me more than that in tools! It's been a loooong time since I've been hands on with spanners.

No such luck! It's an XC 302 wagon, I picked up the rolling body for $150 and a 302 and single rail to go into it for $900. The body is in pretty good shape for an XC, barely any rust except for where the last guy sanded back spots and then left the bare metal exposed.

Starting RZ250R project
Hi Guys, I'm finally getting to make a start on my basket-case (well, milkcrate-case really!) 250. I paid $250 for it and from what I can tell it hasn't been registered since 2002, the guy I bought it off said it had done a big end and just got parked. I guess that was when they removed the exhausts...

Thanks for that, I purchased an empty 44 today, I plan to soak the motor in kero for a while to see if I can get it apart.

Hi Guys, After a short break away from bikes (35 years!) I am now the proud owner of a 5th/85 RZ250R which could best be described as a basket case!
