you can add more oil if you think it will help, but go easy. Its probably the springs that are toast tho.

Are you sure youve bled it correctly? Its worth tying the lever to bars overnight and seeing if that helps. A reverse bleed with a big syringe can help too.

I never use the chinese cheapies, but it should work. Im sure its just needing bleeding.

Yep, after one of these joiners. ideally with its 'cactus like arms' intact. I do know that fishy billy does sell these as repros on uk ebay but was hoping not to spend that much hence the ask on here. pictured is billy's offering, reproduced here to show those who arent sure what i mean what im aft...

Ohh, yes not bad value at all... tho out of my league, not least as I already have a full set of the RGV stuff to go on a project lol The paint does look good, it'd want to be very nice I would think at this price. For the uninitiated there is a long way to go and a good few missing parts I bet with...

Thanks D, just would love to find some in Aus. I know I can buy em from Japan but dont want the hassle of that ad hope someone here has a set they never wanted that came on a bike. Recycleing at its best :)

No one? Or something else that might fit? RG, RGV, FZ, TZ, TZR, FZR (maybe not cos its an airbox?) and maybe 125s instead of 250s and bigger? Hondas? Kawas? Anyone got one going cheap? last one I bought was a hundred bucks and I'd like to be in that price range this time too. Defo has to be 17 inch by 4.5 inches wide and be the 6 spoke. Doesnt have to have come from a CBR600 F2, but i think thats the only bike that had them as the 1000 was wider? Obviou...
