Re: What performance from standard 350LC ?

LOL. Spoke to a few people in the Banshee world and they reckon its not that far out and that it will probably be ok once its torqued up as these cool heads dont have much to them (they are more of a 'cage' for the domes) and guys tells me they 'move' a bit anyway. So will do that. will let you know...

Re: What performance from standard 350LC ?

I agree, but there isnt much i can do Lozza, its done now. What i will say is that its not massively out, but i can feel its not flat if you know what i mean. I'll try and face it and if it doesnt work then i guess i have to suck it up and buy one of Roger's clever heads, lesson learnt i guess.

Re: What performance from standard 350LC ?

Swingarm and head both done. Swingarm worked well but the head got slightly warped in the process so will need a skim which is a shame. I did try and face it on glass but its no better and still rocks gently, sigh.... http://img705.imageshack.us/img705/5295/img6287medium.jpg http://img840.imageshack...

Re: What performance from standard 350LC ?

Aluminium Engineering in Brookvale, a mate of mine used them and the work looked good to me.

Im using a brand new LC loom on mine by the way... no need for the RZ loom from what ive read/seen.

Re: What performance from standard 350LC ?

LOL, i was hoping you would have a plan... LOL!!! I have been looking at 90 degree silicone hoses with a view that i would use that to go into my KTM thermostat housing, but... i know there is a space issue with the rad spacing to the head and most people find it problematical to fit something there...

Re: What performance from standard 350LC ?

I prefer the newer range of Motogadget that use LEDs as in bright sunlight the LCDs can be a bit hard to read, especially when small as you say.

Re: What performance from standard 350LC ?

LOL at the thought of us big kids with these toys... but... the fragility is an issue with a zingy 2T... One of the reasons I got the R1 setup was that it was robust and looks/feels well made. The other reason was that back in 2001 I bought one new, it came attached to the rest of the bike LOL. I lo...

Re: What performance from standard 350LC ?

The R1 setup is nice, but like the RX series its pretty modern, if you want and older style then Koso do some pod styles, but id go with the Motogadget, its german, say no more... LOL

Re: What performance from standard 350LC ?

Love that motogadget stuff... super sexy and you just know its going to be well made. Ive decided to go with the standard clocks on mine, but i have a set or 00-01 R1 clocks waiting in the wings as well as a back up. These says there are plenty of cool clock out there and one guy on the uk forum put...

Re: Cheap Genuine PWK28

I agree t'is indeed a bargain, I reckon if we brought in a box load they'd sell out in minutes to hungry forumers :)

Here is the link for those who wanted to hear about these on the RZ500:
