yep, it changes the exhaust tuning by changing the volume of the chamber or at least the header section of the chamber.

Doesn't the PV effectively change the timing of the exhaust port rather than the volume or length of the exhaust?
Oh, and it was great to see from start to finish as well. I have often wondered what the yellow jobbie was.

Yes, can confirm that is sounds dangerous and the paint is in need of re-doing... Mind you it sounded dangerous before it exploded last time as well. Might sponge a ride after you have proven that it wont hand grenade again (I don't want to be blamed for that).

I pulled my RZ250 put of the shed after not running for 13 years and pumped the tyres up, washed the mouse shit off it, replaced the air filter gave it a bit of 'start ya bastard' and it settled down to an idle with the 13 or more year old petrol in it. Well, if it is the same as the RZ, then it is just a leccy motor, power it up one way then the other and if it moves without being jerky, then it is eeither the feedback pot or the CDI.
