I've looked into the US models a fair bit, turns out the Daytona (79' RD400F) was the only one hit with the emissions gear. I've never looked into importing from the UK, how much did you end up paying for shipping, customs etc? Whats the general value of an RD400 in decent condition from over there?...

Yamaha RD400 Pricing / Is this bike worth it?

Hi all, Looking for help with the value of RD400's (1976-1978) in Australia. Scanning the classifieds for the past month and a half has shown nothing, apart from an RD350. I've found a 1978 RD400E, the silver/blue in mint condition. I think it might be the one, and it's stock just how I want it.

I want to be able to ride the bike on weekends, sounds like the daytona is just going to give me issues with stock carbs and rest of the emission control equipment.

RD400 Daytona Pricing

Hi all, I'm new to the forums, thought this might be the best place for my question. I'm interested in finding an RD400 Daytona thats been imported to Australia. I have no idea on pricing since I've only started looking the past few weeks, and havent seen one listed downunder. Can anyone help with b...
