Hi Mark
I got mine done a couple of years ago when I had the engine rebuilt at Stator Rewinds in Green Point, Gosford, phone 0243 692 313, I think the guys name was Andy
I've also heard that Small Coil Rewinds in Victoria are good too
Cheers

Re: LC tools - allens, 14/12 & C spanner
I gave up trying to find a genuine LC toolkit Jon, I took advice from one of the guys on Norbos forum and bought a NOS Suzuki (Yeah I know :( ) from an RGV of a similar era, the tools don't have Suzuki stamped on them, just made in Japan and came in a plastic pouch rather than the roll that the LC h...

You can clean it up and buy a decal to put over the existing lettering, that's what I did with mineclod wrote:Hi Rob, just snagged a 350LC and the Perspex on the idiot lights looks crazed. I haven't seen it in the flesh yet though. Are you in Sydney?

Re: RD350LC resurrection
Nice Steve Is it all stock. Did you bolt on some pipes or anything? I do love the sound of a 2 stroke wouldn't mind down the track bolting on some after market pipes. Hope that doesn't grind some of the purests. Yeah mate the bike is in standard spec including the pipes, as Jon says though and I do...

Re: LC fuel cap... Anyone with an alloy one?
Yeah that's the same as mine Jon with the arrow on it, I think that has to face the front of the bike, something to do with the breather in it, I seem to remember reading somewhere, I thought it was the original one, thanks for the info you learn something every day as they say

Re: RD350LC resurrection
Just for a comparison, my 350 LC had been stood for 15 years before I got it, the guy I bought it off had the crank checked and new OEM seals fitted, also a top end rebuild done, the bike had done 22,000km, it took me a while to get it running right, but it was mainly the carbs that were the problem...

Re: LC fuel cap... Anyone with an alloy one?
Hi Jon Just had a look at mine for you, it's the same as the one on the left in your pics and plastic, I'm pretty sure this is the original one as one key still fits all 3 parts on the bike, it has the arrow on it that points to the front of the bike My LC has 12/81 on the compliance plate but seems...

1981 or 1982 RD250/350 LC Owners Manual
Trying to find an original owners manual that would have come new with the bike for a 5E0-5E1 81/82 LC if anyone has one in good nick they would like to sell

Re: LC Tuner/Repairer
Seems that way Jon doesn't it, lost faith in my local bike shop where I used to go with my first LC250 32 plus years ago, then after that with a couple of XR's I had a 350 then a 600, took my LC350 there when I first got it a few months ago and it took 5 weeks just to fit new tyres and a couple of o...

LC Tuner/Repairer
Hi Guys Anyone recommend a shop in Sydney (I'm in Southern Suburbs) that I can take my LC to get the carbs serviced and set up as it runs like a pig between 3 and 5000 rpm, been told I need to raise or lower the needle clip, it's also got a slight leak out of one of the carbs as well, I have an over...

Re: RD 350LC Standard Exhausts
Thanks for the replies guys I am familiar with where some of the dents (if you want to call them that) are supposed to be, for the centre stand etc, that's on the LH pipe, which mine is very good, the RH one has a dent in it for either the kickstart or the folding footrest, I forget which  I a...

Re: RD 350LC Standard Exhausts
Never got any replies to this post, so a bit of an update, I managed to do the modifications to the pipe by cutting it, drilling the extra holes and welding it back together, however a mate of mine who has his own panelbeating shop thought he could get the dents out for me, but the pipes are too thi...
