Re: RD250LC
Hey guys, i've been overseas the last month so been a while since i've posted, i've just installed the bearings in my wheels and i've found that the spacer inside the back wheel is loose inside the hub, i'm guessing it shouldn't be that way? the front wheel is fine, the spacer doesn't move around at...
Re: RD250LC
thanks guys, there was no lip at all to catch the drift on, couldn't make them move at all.
I don't trust myself welding either so I dropped the frame to Lloyd Penn in Artarmon, the guys there got them out for me for $50.

Just wondering has anyone else had issues trying to get the bottom and top bearings races out of the head stem? there's no lip to sit the drift on to knock them out, anyone got any ideas?

Re: RD250LC
one other thing, I'm running 350 barrels on a 250 case, is it worth upgrading the oil pump or should I just run premix?
Re: RD250LC

Re: RD250LC
Has anyone had to pull their clocks apart to change the trip knob? my trip knob has snapped off and I want to change it but not sure how to pull them apart without breaking them, anyone?
Re: RD250LC
So I made a bit of a start on the engine tonight, pulled off the barrels and clutch cover. I did find some really well priced pipes on the Webike site from Japan, the brand is K2Tec, anyone had any experience with these?
Also, I see a lot of LC's with the black seat cover with the little signature on the side, does anyone know where I can get one of these seat covers?

Re: RD250LC
I'm actually in Lane Cove too, I've never seen an RZ around here though.
I emailed Kenny about his pipes and he came back with a cost of around $1200 delivered, don't know if I can justify spending that much on a set of pipes after what Hybrid said.
