I do gman! Itching for the sweet sweet sound of ring ting ting ting. I'm heading to the in laws Friday. I just want to start it for 10-15 seconds. I've never heard an rd350lc in the flesh. Not sure the oil pump is working 100% correctly so to be safe was going to put premix in wasnt sure lon the ratio that the oil pump mix's at

think ive reignited the father in laws interest in the bike after 30 years. he has striped back the handle bars.

Is it all stock. Did you bolt on some pipes or anything?
I do love the sound of a 2 stroke wouldn't mind down the track bolting on some after market pipes.
Hope that doesn't grind some of the purests.

Oh righto cheers.

Doubt I'll ever do anything like that just want to fix it and throw my leg over a road going 2 stroke. I've only riden dirt 2 strokes

This may sound stupid but would upgrading to ypvs just involve installing a ypvs head?

I rang 3 chromers about the forks today. 1st one said 'go to south Australia no one does it in the west!' 2nd one said '$590 a fork starting price' 3rd one said '$250 a fork'. Is the 3rd one still too much?

The seat and plastics are there too. In better nick actually than the rest of the bike look like they've seen less weather. There are 2 seats.

Cheers boys To be honest I can't stop thinking about it. But the father in law lives 2 hours from me. Might have to convince him to let me take it home.
