RGV250 Fibreglass panels

Post by eastoegp »

I've got a long term project to put an early model RGV250 on the track and race it with PCRA. I'm down to a bare frame and progressing from there.
Looking for some fibreglass panels or full race glass if anyone has some lying around.
The new Period 6 historic class has a 250 production class for bikes up to 1990 so if anyone is interested in hiting the track this is a good class to do it in.

Well, there is no such thing as cheap racing but this would be almost as economical as you can get. Buckets might be cheaper but at least with a production class there is a limit to how much people can spend on their bikes.
entry fees are about $300-350. An annual licence is about $250. Riding gear ?? tyres, fuel and keping the bike in good condition.

Traffic fines are non existant.
No cars, telegraph poles, trees, or gutters to hit and a good bunch of people who get on well.

Most events are 1 day but some are 2. you get one practice session and 3 races per day

or
I'm happy to help if needed. I've been racing historics for 15 years and know how it runs pretty well. Keen to see more bikes in this new class.
What are you thinking of riding. RGV?
