With TSS Cranks in LC's - aren't these based on RZ/Banshee cranks that are slightly wider ??

So is the LC crankcase machined or are the crank webs machined to fit the LC cases.....??
One day lad all this will be yours............

I've also heard that Shee and RZ cranks will fit in LC cases if you machine a millimetre out of the cases to match the extra millimetre of the wider big end bearing. There's a racer I know who did it/had it done. Can't say what other issues might be involved. Gotta love the continuity of parts with Yamaha though.

Im 99% sure that Yambits dont make their own crank, they just sell an Asian one. I would ask and see what they say if you are keen, you can surely have one rebuilt locally for 750AUD with Graham who is on this forum.

LB is in Australia, he was just giving a heads up on parts that are in Canada that he was offered. I think they were still available a few days back, so if you want them contact LB he will put you in touch with the seller who will ship here Im sure of that.

I think LB also has a crank and other parts in Aus if you wanted something like that, again contact him.

Cranks. Just spoke to Link who has just completed a crank for me. I've never used Graham, but Link has been helpful and easy to deal with so send your cranks to him I say, he will see you right.

This made me think about the fact that the forum world has two types of buyers, those who buy in case they need a part so grab one when it comes up and those that search for one when they need it. Neither approach is wrong, but I used to be the latter, until I realised that I should buy stuff when it was in Aus and even better in NSW or sydney in case i needed it, rather than buy from WA or abroad and pay huge post costs, just my experience...
