I drove to work this morning, and noticed three main benefits

-I can sleep in an extra 30 mins
-Petrol isnt that much more than train ticket (suburban daily ticket is $7)
-You dont get punched in the face by white trash

Ah the joys of riding the pushie and catching the train.
My commute to work is way more deserving of a documentary, 'Deadliest Catch' and 'Ice Road Truckers' have got nothing on me haha.

Getting into brawls with white trash, accepting rides from scary looking strangers when its raining, confronting junkies who are robbing disabled people on the train, paying homeless people to rap (they have to earn their money).

Got my clutch cable issue sorted out today.

I used an OEM bracket adn an aftermarket cable.

I used a perch and lever from the poor CRM250 but the cable slack was too much, so I found an old servo cable adjuster, cut a slit in it so it could be inserted and then put it inline with the cable to take up the slack.

Clutch cable now operates perfectly and now has adjustment at the lever and the cases which is an improvement over the stock setup


If I have time, I will install the EGT probes and guages tonight or tomorrow afternoon.

Then there will only be a few small jobs remaining untill I can take her for a ride

Wow,so they're a clamped on unit Jeram?No need for welding?

Yeah, these ones are clamp on only.

But they seem to have all the fittings to make it seal perfectly, only time will tell though.

But many classic road racers use this exact kit and I dont hear them complaining

Where did you get that EGT from Jeram and how much? I am sick of waiting for my other one to turn up.

its a KOSO dual EGT.

you can get the std version for 270 odd dollars

for 340 dollars you can switch between EGT's, water temps and RPMs/

You set pre-set limits for each sensor and the screen will turn red at the max RPM, EGT or water temp.

It can also recall the maxium value once your finished riding.
