Still a long way to go but this is what I have so far.

where did you manage to get those manifolds for 30 bucks! Lucky find!

Hi Graham, I picked up the manifolds from ebay a lucky find. I will have to remember to look for tdr and tzr when searching for parts.

Now I know the bike is a runner I have started to strip her down to tidy up the parts.
The forks and wheels are off I'll fit new bearings and fork seals.

I'll leave the old tires on for now, I'll replace them closer to when I register her.

Good progress mate, you got the motor running quick, was it just a hone for the cylinders? Any chance you strapped the mount franklin gas bottle on and red lined it down the street.

Hi Gman,
The cylinders were honed by the previous owner.
I don't think the local constabulary would have seen the funny side of it if they caught me hooning down the street on the mount franklin bullet. That would be so wrong for so many reasons.

Now I just have to remember how it all goes back together.

I won't paint the frame I'll just give it a good clean and start assembling the parts.
I wonder If the wife will notice another bike in the house?

Put a red Ducati tank on it, she'll never notice

I have been busy with tidying the Tzr.
The seat cowling was held together with dodgy brackets.
I used acetone to mount 4 new brackets.





It all worked out pretty well.



The fairing also needed some love.
I touched up some damage and hand cut a new sticker with some vinyl had laying around.

Looking good, nice work with the fairings. The tail plastics were ever fragile on that model.
