A fellow had a filler neck put into a RGV rad at a plain old Natrad shop cost $90 and they did a top job. Worth asking around. Carbs spoiled for choice TMX-X RM125 carbs are sublime, VHSB 34 Dell'orto's or them Keihin PWK's

I was going to use PWK28s on my 421 as well, but mainly as i have a set in my hands. But will say that it is tempting to look for larger units tho as you say...

Big Rad... rg500.com have them, its a RZ unit, AFAIK I dont think there is an LC unit out there thats easily available, most people building big bore LCs have either used the std rad or had a larger one made as a custom job.... the original LC rad is almost twice the size of the later RZ unit (750 vs 450ml IIRC).

Anyway, Im not sure what frame youre trying to get it to fit on tho... my memory aint what it used to be LOL

JonW if you don't end up using the PWK28's I'm happy to buy them if you want rid of.
I've still got to find 4 PWKs for my 500, but I haven't had the time or money to do anything about it lately.
RD350LC- RGV Mods, PWK28's
RZ500 - YZR Replica, PWK28's

Ha mate
Super great to see you coming along with my old project
Shot to read about the swinger I knew the frame was straight as a die as me and dad spent hours measuring it and making the jig for the subframe mount
Nice to see the dirty wog I bright the swinger off ripped me
Never even went through my mind to check that
As for the welding of the new shock mount and subframe mount
We pre heated all joins to be welded to just before cherry red than welded with mig ( carnt remember the wire but it cost a bomb for a 5 kg roll as i was told it was the best for the frame job on erw mild steel ( what the frame is made out of)once welded we wrapped each weld in heat retention wrap used on headers and let it cool.
great to see you got the rizoma rearsets will look horn

And now im back in Sydney with no project :(
He'll anyone know of a NS400r complete motor and electronics I reason it would look horn in a late modle vrf400 chassie lol. Shhhhhhhh dont tell the wife

Ohhhh Nice! more Sexy stuff! nice work m8! I got my Athena kit the other week, domes are done, fitting Wiseco offset pistons and also a TSS crank like yours. Our engines will be quite similar i reckon. Ive grabbed some Vforce3's and a Wicked Motorsport hidden crossover manifold as well as a set of fat belly pipes... busy busy! :D

Eeek sounds like they will. We will have to meet up when they are done and try eachothers handiwork out!

Too funny, but i guess when looking at the best of the parts out there for sensible money we were bound to end up grabbing much the same bits n bobs.

Fat belly pipes designed for a big bore motor are also from Wicked Motorsport. I compared them with Aaron's RZ350 Lomas the other day and they are quite different to the pipes for 350 bikes. I dropped in to see Roger who owns the place when i was over in the US on my hols and brought home various bits and the pipes fitted nicely in my luggage with the stingers removed. :)

Cans are going to be Alloy Toomey units that came with the pipes.

Wicked also did the domes for me on his lathe when i was there as I am fitting Wiseco 573's and dont want to run a spacer plate, much the same as your spec etc.

In case anyone wanted to read my drivel, here was my report on visiting Wicked Motorsport and about riding his two RZs and having fun n games in the LA traffic. Apologies for the link to the US forum, but I wrote it there for those guys really as a lot of them deal with Roger weekly for parts etc. I hope you enjoy:
