Love that motogadget stuff... super sexy and you just know its going to be well made. Ive decided to go with the standard clocks on mine, but i have a set or 00-01 R1 clocks waiting in the wings as well as a back up. These says there are plenty of cool clock out there and one guy on the uk forum put nice round modern Koso clocks in his original dash, they were a bit small for me, but the idea was sound imho.

The R1 setup is nice, but like the RX series its pretty modern, if you want and older style then Koso do some pod styles, but id go with the Motogadget, its german, say no more... LOL

The KOSO ones are tiny like little toys.
I was pretty disappointed when mine arrived.

LOL at the thought of us big kids with these toys... but... the fragility is an issue with a zingy 2T... One of the reasons I got the R1 setup was that it was robust and looks/feels well made. The other reason was that back in 2001 I bought one new, it came attached to the rest of the bike LOL. I loved that bike and was gutted it had to go and was pleased when I found you could make that unit fit to other bikes including the RD/RZ. I also would really like a decent water temp gauge and the R1 cluster has that. Would be nice to get the reserve to work as intended but thats a bridge too far i reckon.

Im still kinda gutted that Koso dont use a better grade of plastic, i mean how much more would get added to the cost to make a better unit? Id pay $10 more if it looked and felt a better product. The new motogadget unit (teh half moon thingy) looks amazing and has over 700 LEDs! plus, talking big kids... how damn cool is it that the max revs dot runs back to the current revs when its done, that makes me grin everytime i see those vids... I so want one... lol.

Anyway, get the motogadget stuff now while the Aud is so good for us i reckon, plus direct from the manufacturer gives us 19% tax off the prices, makes them even more tempting!

I prefer the newer range of Motogadget that use LEDs as in bright sunlight the LCDs can be a bit hard to read, especially when small as you say.
