I had to witness the horror of all horrors last week when I saw a picture of an SDR that a guy had put a KLX250 motor into. I mean a Kawasaki four stroke dirt bike motor does it get any worse than that., it did look like it belonged in there mind you.

Got the paint work back yesterday so just about there. The tank was rotten and need to be patched, it made an LC tank look like an easy project. Just need a chain and we are good to go. Pictures later.

Jools that kind of talk is unAustralian. I need to get thank decals and stick them on during the week and the gasket in the float bowl is not sealing and the fuel tap won't last very long. Then a chain and we are ready to roll. A chamber will need to be found too in Japan as the pipe is spitting out some rust so its life may be ending soon.
The painter did a good job and the colour is a black/ green with a flake that pops in the sun light.

I know Eeepa, I'm an evil bastard I really am... I've got no principles at all!
Absolutely no morals, no ethics at all when it comes to stuffing motors into rollers.
I know I should have got over this 30 or 40 years ago (or 50!)... but, ah well, I blame a broken home... It wasn't my fault... I just need counselling. Well okay, if I go to confession in the morning, perhaps the Husaberg could go and we stick a powervalve in it?
:-)
