Best option is Aprilia Showa forks (RSV/RS 250) all the hard work is done for you.

Hope the forks are worth it Pete.

Thats bizarre Pete... try and knock the spacer to the side to create more of a gap there, if that fails i guess you will have to remove the inner race and then you would have access to the other side as you could remove the spacer, then get the last of the first one out...

Also you could try a a split style bearing pusher. I have one, if you want to drop over with a wheel one day we could give it a go. In the meantime try a rawl bolt, you never know it may work. do it tight and hammer like hell from the other side after heating the wheel of course.

Ive used it a few times, worked ok. you need to make sure the splitter rod is well fitted to the die, but ive removed a few things with it now and its saved some heartache with some hard work bearings, but im sure their bigger tool is better and there are others on the market of course.

Pete you need a bearing puler with a split collet and a slide hammer. Remember to use a bit of never seize when you install the new ones.

For future reference,if the guts of the bearing has been knocked out,run a weld around the inside of the bearing shell, the thing will fall out garanteed!
