That must be for cone pipes. I believe it is less for hydroformed.

Dumb questions time, can cone sections or other pipe sections be had "off the shelf" anywhere? To allow those suitably welder equipped to cut and shut their own home brewed pipes.
Someone suggested it was possible to me a while ago when discussing total unavailabilty of replacement pipes for a different two stroke.
It did sound too good to be true, and we know the old saying "if it sounds too good.... It is"

Someone was selling the cone kits... can't remember which brand they were.
But to be honest... I doubt the cone kit would be cheaper than having Lozza build them @ $200/pipe, and it's debatable whether they would be the ideal specs anyway.

Yesterday Fred and I chopped off the stock subframe EEEEEK!
and modified it it to suit the new tail section.
The bike looks great now with the set unit permanently mounted on. I just need to get some foam to place under the seat unit now so that it doesn't crack the fiberglass/gel coat on the aluminum sub-subframe when I ride it.
Next step is stripping the paint of the tank and then bogging the tank and tail so that they are absolutely immaculate for painting.
I dont like the idea of stripping the paint of a steel tank when I live 50m from the ocean!
Should look great in a few weeks when its all painted.
Other than that, Im getting those ATTACK (ATAC) valves produced this week in NZ, so I should have them all finished and ready to try out in a month or so (need to CNC the valves, make the butterflies, trial mount them on the bike, make the canister volumes, get a rotating solenoid and set up the opening/closing rose joint linkages

Update:
Engine rebuilt and back in frame
and the subframe and tail section mounting done
Im a big fan of the brushed aluminium side covers, vs the blue
Fred9999 gave me a hand with the welding on the weekend, big thanks goes out to him.
This is what she looks like now as of an hour ago

not far to go now
still got a little bit of work to go, but if I keep chipping away at it this week I should have her running again this weekend.

Well today got off to a shit start after a fuck-whit punched me in the face at the train-station this morning, but today is quickly become a good day after I got these images sent to me this afternoon
DRUM ROLL..................
Here are the prototype ATTACK (ATAC) valves that I've been designing.
They will be dyno tested in a few weeks to proove their worth, and then pending good results I will be going commercial with them.
I already have an order for aet of 3 to put on a Kawasaki 750 triple pending proven gains on my 421.
A big thanks to Neil from NZ for his help turning these from a 3D design into a reality
