Bruce "Magoo" McFarland

Post by 2TInstitute »

You may or may not have known Bruce, but he was very well known in vintage mx circles, a larger than life character and all round top bloke. He loved Honda's(but I never held that against him) and racing at HEAVEN VMX meetings, the BS around the campfire afterwards. Famous for letting thunders off at inappropriate times and places.Always had a quick quip and always enjoyed the company of likeminded people.
Bruce unfortunately contracted cancer and unfortunately lost his short battle with the incidious diease.

God Speed Magoo.

Bruce was self employed (and was doing it tough recently) and if there is any interest I'll post the details of how to help the McFarland family.

A nice story to give you an insight into Magoo's character posted on Ozvmx
Just a quick story on Magoo's sence of fun .He came limping into the pub when asked what he had done . He launched into a story about running 2nd in the thumper nats and twisted his foot in a corner, found out later he caught his foot on the screen door at home .always good for a good yarn.miss you mate .
