......... http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Yamaha-RD250LC-1 ... 2a04bd8aa6

$4500 8O

Claims "This bike has been fully restored from the frame up" - don't know if he's have himself on or trying to have others on.

And here's another:
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Post-Classic-Yam ... 35a7592481

"Post Classic P4 1969 Yamaha TD2 production race bike, not a converted road bike.

This is a race bike so not many original parts left:
frame is DKW #427002020
Engine has DS6 cases (a popular swap), but internals and everything else is TD2 #DS6-01172
Forks are listed as Honda SL175
Front brake is DS7 twin leading shoe i have been told it is the same as TZ 125"

He's right, its not a YDS frame but then it not TD either. Obviously by the frame number a DKW. Did DKW make racers? Looks pretty ordinary to me with swingarm pivots and axle plate pressed metal :?

None of the bodywork is TD (and may not be Yamaha :? )

At least it's a Bitza price and not TD price  .

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm the LC is probably worth about 2.5k paint looks not 2 bad engine needs a paint some stainless bolts would go a long way.

The other bike I don't know much about however good luck to anyone who gets what there asking for, old saying buyer beware.

I don't think it worth that - rust on mirror stems, horn etc. I'm pretty sure a close inspection would be disappointing  - $1500-2000 maybe.

Hey, I hope he gets $4500 - I'll ask for $8000 on the same scale :P .
