Re: rz cooling fan
SCA sell a fitting kit for $6 for fans, worth getting one. If you want to control it you either need a switch or a temp controller unit.. naturally these are $40 in the USA, but not $40 here... if anyone finds a good controller pls do let me know, I have an R6 fan already

Re: rz cooling fan
this is the controller people seem to favour:

Re: rz cooling fan
I should also say... fit a bigger rad from ebay (40mm) or the fan, fit kit and a controller... cost is about the same and the bigger rad is less work... just sayin...
Re: rz cooling fan
thanks guys,i look into getting a r6 fan.i have a suzuki hayabusa fan but will be a tight fit by the looks of it.are you going to fit the fan through the rad with this fitting kit you speak off.i hate doing it that way but is certainly easier.Rocket industries might have a controller.
Re: rz cooling fan
that controller is the go
.i rang rocket and they dont have that one, they have the type where the probe goes into the top hose

Re: rz cooling fan
The probe thing never worked for me before on cars, so Im wary.... yes thru the rad with the kit. use big washers
