Hi guys you may have wread some old posts where i had this idear to cram a kr250 tandum twinn into a yz frame well my idear is takeing shape so far i have got the motor into the frame and mounted after some work on the bottom rails they where all wrong for the kr engine also a mounting bush was made to link the swingarm bolt to the motor mount on the rear the rest went from there so naw its a roleing bike again i need to make the pipes i have a set of yz125 expantion chambers to rework and fit up to the bikee the thing the i am haveing dramas with is wireing i dont have a diogram for the 84 kr250 to work from if somebody here can help that would be awsome.

Got the photobucket app will try that link.still working out the expantion chambers the front one is done thats was easy still doing the rear one under the seat what a nightmare

Things are comeing along with the bike got the front expantion chamber all done naw i need to tackle the rear one it will be hydroformed useing my preshure washer dont laugh it works it pushes 1740psi i have made a test piece if you try it just make sure you dont have and air traped iside it unless you want it to blow up in your face there is a heap of you tube vids on it eneyways let you guys know how it goes.

a tip for the pipe making: fold the edges of the pipe to be 'flat' before welding together. so that the edges are butting up against each other, not simply flat ontop of each other.
so that when you weld the pipe the weld is how it will be once inflated. then you can expand the pipe without stretching/deforming the welds.

Yes i agree i have done it both ways and shaping the side where its welded is the best way i found makeing a plywood template say 10mm smaller all round to dolly the metal over is a easy way to do it
