Greetings and TZR250 stuff

Post by ChrisACT »

Greetings to you all. I'm Chris from Canberra. I've recently acquired a 1987 TZR250 (2MA). A wonderfully enjoyable little jigger it is.

I've owned a couple of strokers from briefly racing superlights with the PCRA and having an extensively customised H100 road bike.

Can't get enough of them.

I'm wondering if anyone knows where to get reproduction fairings for the 2MA. Alternatively, if anyone has ever fitted the 3MA fairings to a 2MA, I'd love to know if it's doable.

Thanks.

I am going to try and fit a ebay 3ma fairing to my 1kt tzr so I hope that it fits well enough to look ok

Shep the 3ma rear cowl is very wide under the seat for the exhausts. I think you would be better off with the 3XV kit.
Having said that, there is a guy in canberra called Mark boddy who has 1kt/2ma stuff for sale.
join the TZR forum an you will see in for sale

cheers

I don't have any fairings.
Not trying to sell TZR stuff at the moment either.
Maybe later in the year I will have some time to organise just what stuff I have and what I will be selling.
RDLC, RZ and TZR.
