1984 RZ 350 for sale

Had this bike for over 20 years and has 61,200 klm on it. Complete engine rebuild, overhauled front & rear suspension and brakes (braided lines) all in 2008 and has done about 1000 klms since then. It is all original including the paint. Tyres nearly new.
Difficult to put a price on it as there aren't too many like this. More pics & receipt available.
Asking $7,500.00. Located in Montrose, outer eastern Melbourne.

Pretty bike & obviously well loved.
We seen a pristine RD350LC sell for $6500 recently which was the highest price I have seen one sell for, arguably the LC is more desirable than the RZ, so you might be waiting for some time to get the price you are after for this bike, consider also that there are pristine 500's that are asking 15k.
Best of luck with the sale & if you have an interest in all things 2 stroke, hang around..

Hi & thanks very much for the response.
Because there are so few for sale its difficult to know how much to put on it so I appreciate your input. Took it for a run yesterday and will really miss that sound but my riding these days is more about touring and 2 up which is why its sat idle for awhile. I hate to see it sitting there when someone could be enjoying it. Will drop the price to $8500 and see how it goes as I'm in no hurry and the complete rebuild must count for a bit.

You know you will miss it, to the point of buying another one anyway.
You can never really replace you first true love!
I miss my 500 so much

Beautiful RZ you have, the nicest colours I reckon (I've owned them all in the past and have an '83 K model now). If I was looking for one then that's a bike I would buy for sure, especially knowing how much my K cost to get to a condition I'm happy with. Good luck with the sale - make sure you post an ad in the RDRZ350 forum.
The most recent decent (that rhymes!) 350 LC sold for $7800 a few weeks back and I'll agree they probably head the RZ for value but given the rate that all two strokes are rising in value and the fact that it's so rare that a decent one comes up for sale I think what you're asking is reasonable.
Cheers, Richard

Thanks for the feedback Richard & I will post it in the other forum also.
I will miss it but I'm going through a practical over emotive stage at the moment.

I still reckon Greasemeister has a strong point!
Would like to turn he clck back and not sell mine.
Very nice colours, best of the 31k model schemes.
Still a bit steep for an RZ just yet though.
I'm going to collect a $300 RZ250R on Sunday, it's rusty as f$$$ and seized, but heck, thats cheap enough to get my interest

RZs seem to be going up, but I do wonder how many people there are out there willing/able to pay strong prices for them.
Beautiful example of the breed in this case, probably the best factory colour scheme imho (Kenny Rogers version not really being a non-US colour).
