RD 400 Engine

RD 400 enginewanted complete any condition to suit 1976 frame with carbies and front exhaust section if possible

saw a 400 engine today with a totaled crank
the guy took it to a tuner who stripped it quoted him 1600 to repair then gave him back in a box in pieces
so he thinks hes still got gold-good luck to him

No he offered it me over the phone, told me that it was a bargain and that if I did not buy it he was going to get it re-built and put it in a buggy

do you know if you can fit 400 barrels to a 350 or it doesnt work like that

A RD 400 crank should be a doddle to rebuild, the 350 and 400 cylinders will interchange but it is not practical, the 400 cylinder is much longer and the height needs to go on the top of the cylinder
