2 Strokes Down Under

I dont get it, and I had MT50 and MB5's for years (65cc and 100cc versions it should be said). Too small to be safe on our roads really :/

they're a novelty, and appealing designs.
Depending on the model I'm sure many are impractical in modern conditions, but I see plenty of postie bikes making a go of it, so if a tiddler is somewhere around that mark it could be viable.
Would never be first choice transport, could be a giggle in the right (leisure) circumstances.

I have a Yamaha YL2C. It's 100cc, and a blast for bombing round my block. Not half bad for a bike thats nearly 50 years old. It'll be on the road when I get round to putting a roadworthy on it, though I can't imgine it'll stray too far from home!

You see those beautiful things on their 50cc Aprilia's doing their best to stay out of the way as they wobble their way to work!!
I keep the tiddlers in the garage for fun but wouldn't ride anything below 250 in the traffic.

There isn't enough room in my shed for even something that small!

I have a YL1 100cc and a HSB-1 90cc that I ride every now and then. Great fun and as long as you stay on the 80km zone roads well capable of embarrassing a few bigger bikes in the bends. Wouldn't touch a four stroke Honda mind you even if it is just a few ks from my house.

LOL whats wrong with a small Honda, Ive had several... 2 and 4 strokes. All well made, and a 4T 125 or below honda motor will start and run fine even its its been sat in the back of a dusty shed for 20 years with no carb or pipe on it. amazing quality. Id actually love a CT/ST70 or 90. If anyone gets offered one and doesnt want it, let me know...

I blame H*nda for the 2strokes premature demise. I sold my SP1 (which was a great bike) and will never buy another H*nda.

LOL, I sort of see what youre saying but its hard to blame the bikes for the decisions by management... thats like saying all Microsoft products are crap... oh hold on... bad example...

Im tempted to own one of these if they ever bring it to Aus... I know i said no to tiddlers, but man its supercool...

I didnt say where Id ride it, or how often... plus its a modern 125 with FI, thing does 90mph fro what i read, plus there is a 200cc upgrade kit avail. So, less of a tiddler really... just a small bike
