LAMS for a big Fish?

Hi All,
Any Idea what would make a good first bike for my mate Fisher, he is 6"1' and around 130kg so would benefit from a larger motor & chassis. Thinking Sports / Tourer?

Mt07 would be my pick as well, the price is still up there for a first bike, because their so new.
Suzuki DL650 is in the same boat, still to new to be a good price for a first bike.
It's a difficult situation for him, found out he is 6"4' today.

A mate of mine is a big unit on his Ps. He rides a GSX650F and he likes it. Bandit 650 would be cheaper if the GSX are pricey, I have no idea.

Pick em cheap fully kitted out. Road or dirt adventure, great bikes, easy to maintain etc.

Great bikes, simple, reliable, easy to motard if he wants, great in the city commute, lane split like a mad man on one.
Suspension is basic, but plenty of options to either beef them up, or easy to do complete front end swaps for better forks etc, drz400, rmz450 front ends are nearly a bolt in swap over a 6 pack.
Quite a large range of aftermarket parts that are easy to get and quite cheap overall.
