Hi I'm wondering if any readers have modified PV controllers to adjust opening and closing RPM?
And if so could share details of their experience; in particular on a 1KT/2MA TZR, I hear that 6000->8600 is good for a 2MA?
Cheers

Controller modified as per the photos at this URL.

The mod should change the PV operation range from approx 5850-10050 to 6000-8550 RPM. The bike does seem snappier partic 8-9k but hard to be sure; I believe this mod is supposed to be worth 3-4hp

In principle yes, but I've never even seen a TDR. I s'pose if the VPVS controller default jumpering is as per the TZR then it's a fair bet they're in a similar state of tune and the mod should produce the same result.
Cheers

TDR has an all in one CDI YPVS controller. TZR has separate YPVS controller. The TZR forum has some guys playing around with a TDR controller to make it programmable. We just need to wait until they work it all out.
