OEM Clutch springs?

My RZ250 clutch springs were just a little 'settled' when I measured them, and the kid reckoned the clutch slipped a bit around Broadford, so I got a set of Yambits ones and fitted them. But they are too heavy. (Everyone seems to advertise clutchsprings as 'Heavy duty' as if that's a good thing. Well it may be for a tuned bike or a racer, but for a cookin' 250 what's the point? My (long-gone) RZ 350 had a beautiful light clutch which never slipped. I very much doubt that the 250 and 350 had different clutchsprings.

I think what the parts suppliers do is just make springs that'll fit everything from 125s' through to 750's, and, well yes they rate them heavier for the 750, but for less powerful machines just call them 'Heavy duty'
(Ooo jeezuz ya DO get cynical in your old age!!!)

Anyway, anyone know of a source of NOT HEAVY DUTY clutch springs?

I tend to use 3 HD and 3 new OEMs for my clutches, best of both worlds. Rich (SH) found that most slipping clutches were spring related not plates and like him I found 95% of my stacks of plates were in spec, but 100% of the springs were not.
