They're not exactly giving them away but not stupid either.

I should tart mine up with new tacho/speedo covers - about $100 Hmmmmm.

And the rad guard for $73.

But not this week  . Maybe for the VJMC meet  .

I've got one but its not pristine. It's okay but if I was to replace it I would go pristine (meaning most probably NOS). Thanks.

Hey Doc, I see you're a Sydneysider; are you up for the VJMC rally next year - Warrilla. I'm guessing they'll have a few organised rides up through Mac Pass, Jambaroo etc, etc.

(I'm drumming up interest early. Anyone else? Hybrid?).

Well, I better get my finger out and get the beast re-rego'd.

(Kitchen resto is distracting me.)

Ahh the Kitchen Resto. Did mine about 18 months ago and still got bits n pieces I need to finish, which the wife gives me greif about but I had to move on to more urgent issues - termites ! Not to mentioned the LC needed some loving.

You've got a 6 hey! I've got a 5 which is 'in the process'. Need exhausts - like hen's teeth. I'll probably send some old pipes to Overland and see if they can be replicated - it's a pretty straight forward design.

I doubt if you'll get a complete crank. You'll probably have to get the bits and have it pressed up. I haven't looked into it but there is a knowledgeable YDS group on Yahoo where you might ask pertain questions for a good result.

I really should 'advance' the YDS5 project, but $$$$'s and too many projects/interests - capabilities and ambition  .
