Anyone need an RD/RZ. F2 / N2 tank?

In looking for a decent 31K type 83 to 85 tank I've unearthed someone with a good 86 onwards tank. Ron at Crystal Creek wreckers. Alas he doesn't have the tank I want, but as the later ones are probably as rot-prone as the earlier ones.....

I'm still looking for an F2 tank. I've bought one from the UK but it needs a repair, then paint, then decals so I might shelve it if I can get hold of another that has less work to do. I do have a few spare F1 tanks but not sure which one to keep until I get around to that project next. Any contact details for CC Wreckers?

Ron / Crystal Creek

Seems like a realistic guy. Not got the rarer RD/RZ parts ,as far as I could gather but has some stuff in amongst the wider range of spars he has. You'll need to swap pics to identify or confirm specifics.
Sent pics of the F2 tank and it looked to be solid and only lightly dented on top.
Good luck Gavin.

Ive also dealt with Ron, he sold me a good LC loom and a 85 RZ CDI for sensible money, seems like a decent chap.

Mate, I feel bad but I got it. Hopefully it's in the post. If it's any good I may have a spare now, that I had shipped from the UK. It's very solid with minimal rust inside but has been banged about. I'll get back to you in a few days if you like. Gavin

On a more positive note, big thanks to BRG for the heads up. I owe you a few beers or coffee if we cross paths on the road somewhere.

Is this the model / year you are after?

I have a spare tank for the 500, this one above, and an F2 but can't really give them up until I know what I need. I'd be happy to keep the karma going when the time comes though.

Jon, you're not helping you know

Gavin, yes, I have the very same model, just need a couple of those tanks to go with my collection of chicken teeth and rocking horse poo.

I was just talking to a mate last night about your tank manufacturing adventure - how do we subscribe again?

I'm having problems with Tapatalk and my phone so I can't post pics. I'll try this link and see what happens.

This should be the tanks I have plus another one like the blue one.
I haven't included the rz500 ones as that seems to be scheduled for another life right now.
I started the rebuild today but I'll post that back in my old thread in projects.
Cheers
