I just picked up about 250kg. I don't know if it is usable as blast media but I'm told that it is. I picked the driest cleanest looking.
The story is that it is used to blast large shopping mall water condensers and because of warranty issues it is not reused. Sounds good.
This is the peak period for air conditioning maintenance so they have plenty.
You might be able to use it or know someone else who can. The price is right
