And NO, I'm in no way connected to the seller. But I want you to buy it and take away the temptation

.
I reckon it a good bargain just waiting for a loving Yamaha two stroke lover to take it in hand.
I strongly recommend you inspect before buying to ensure it is as described. The seller reckons 100% complete. I can't see it all. Look for OEM grips, mirrors and seat if you want an OEM resto (these are often overlooked and can make a BIG difference to collectibility and value

). Check yhe chrome on the guards and chain guard.
Also check the condition - how bad is that rust on the tank? I take it that the engine is not shown. I'm assuming the cases in the pixies are spares.
I would go there with $2000 and wave it under their nose - this is at least the second, and maybe the third, time it's been on EvilPay.
Should end up looking like this...
(This is the gold - the original on the tank is a Burnt Orange.)
.....or better (the already polished alloy look better to start with

)

Not if the NOS stuff that the seller claims is there.
NOS Exhaust - he claims $800 the pair which actually sounds cheap to me. Also claims NOS speedo. In fact here's the quote
"I have spent over $4000 on nos parts you name it its there,NOS clocks controls fork sliders badges gaskets spokes blinkers guard rear pistons exhaust I spent $800 to find new."
If it all true and all there I would believe him on the $4000.
But I would check, and check the condition of things. He claims the frame has been powder coated but it's either dirty or got rust on the cross member.
Even with all the good NOS stuff I doubt if you would be able to buy it, finish it off and sell at a profit. You would want to have a nice resto'ed R5 to make it worthwhile.
But it would be worth the look

.

But if you had all that NOS stuff why would you sell it all off in one go at a loss. Sounds suss to me it should have been snapped up the first time especially as people are paying big for aircooled 350s.
