Magger, you might want to check out GS500 wheels. I'm not 100% sure, but I think they might use the same wheels (though different model RGV's might vary). If they ARE the same they'll be a lot more common and easy to get than RGV ones. (GS500 -25 year model run = plenty used parts available!)

Many Suzis run the same wheels, the problem is finding a 17" rear tho. The motard boys cornered the market in them a while back and the prices rose. They appear on ebay from time to time, but usually are $250+ and cush drives and disks are usually extras.

Same with fronts... RGV is 3.0, others are 3.5... which is desirable to many. RGV fronts are $250ish and almost never come with with disks.

I remember when they were $25 each... Those days are gone :/

GS500 ARE 17" wheels.
My 2 spare GS500 rears are 130/70-17 (tyres).
Looks like the early RGV's used 18" rears, later models were 17". The GS500 uses 17", 130 tyres standard, but many people put 140 and 150 on them with no probs. If there's anyone who wants to chuck me $250 each for my 2 17" GS500 rear wheels (with tyres) I'd be only too happy to oblige!!!

well if theyre 4.5s and the same as RGV then thats what theyre worth these days...

FWIW RGV uses 150/60 tyres tho LCs and RZs are said to handle better on 140s, but I have a 150 on my modded LC and in my limited testing its fine. I have a 140 on my XT500 motard, and its more nimble, but its a very different machine...
