I note that Kiwi Bruce Anstey snagged the 'classic' record at the IoM on a YZR 500,
@ an average speed of over 200 km/h, last year, there's some good skills..

Outrageous video. I'd be dead before Bradden Bridge every lap at that pace.

TT week! It's just about the best part of (our) winter. I saw Kate's Cottage advertised for sale somewhere the other day. About 350000 quid. Be a bargain if you were filthy rich and had too much money.

Kate must be included in the price, and Kate must be a good sport

The Suter is struggling a bit at the moment.

I don't think the IoM would be The Place to go to 'sort' a bike.

True, but I also think peoples hopes were too high for it. It's still only 500cc... it's going to stuggle a bit against the big 4's of today.
You look at the video above as an example. The amount of time they are holding those things wide open in high gears... doing that on a stroker takes some massive balls.

Well, if it the Suter's not going significantly quicker than Bruce Anstey got the ol' YZR 500 to go,
then its really not good enough.. ( & at 580cc/195hp it should be)..

A number of riders were killed due to engine seizure way back in the day, but current stuff is ok..

Looking at the credits I gather that 4 riders died this year.
