How do people dispose of their old helmets?

Just purchased a new helmet and was wondering what people do with their old ones? Tossing it in with the household rubbish doesn't sound good. While fiberglass isn't, polycarbonate and EPS are recyclable but would need to be separated. Reading on line people say donate them to first aid training but checking web sites locally, no one is actively asking for donations.

Fill them full of concrete and set them up for target practice......lol

I keep mine displayed on a shelf in the workshop as souvenirs

Ive given them away or sold em over the years as people seem to like them, but now i keep them.
