can you stroke a rz500?

well i have a few questions..first can u stroke a rz500.. second how similar are the rear crank to the tzr2ma? idealy id like to know if the tzr can be stroked ..but i realize that more developement goes into the 500s..and im sure its been done.. thanks

Gus on the 500 forums was working on a stroker kit for the 500, but I'm not sure how far he got with it. He has some health issues.

it would be interesting to have a tzr and rz250 crank side by side..seems the easiest way surely.. that way u get 4mm stroke basically
perhaps machine the tzr cases to fit the rz250 crank

Think you will find sticking a rz motor in the TZR frame much easier. RZ 500's have enough problems without adding stroker engine to the list.
A longer rod/high pin piston is a far better option.

not interested in a 500 just though they had the same crank as the tzr,,just thought a rz250 crank might be made to fit in the tzr..if not ill leave as it is
