An RD story (JonW asked LOL )

Well Ok here goes
I rebuilt an LC 250 in 2004 , it was in a poor state of repair but my teenage years were flooding back and the smell of 2 stroke once again was calling me .
I raced it for a season then decided to go into P6 on a gsxr 750 so it had to go.
I ended up selling it to a guy ( Mark ) in SA , top bloke , drove over to Dubbo to collect it . And that was that. Well atleast I thought it was .... I think he raced it once then moved it on to someone in Mudgee ( go Figure ) so it was back virtuoly next door
. The guy who bought it ( Andy ) was intending to race it but never did so it was resting up in his Bedroom
for the duration till now.
It was one bike I regretted ever selling ..... perhaps one of my favourites.
I was even gonna put an add up on the Woolies notice board in Mudgee to see if it was for sale and Andy was always wanting to contact me to see if I could help him get into racing but thought I had moved on and probably wouldn't be interested.
How wrong he was and I never did post up that notice.
Anyway trolling through ebay and there she was , The old LC nothing touched and still as I last saw it.
After a few emails and a bloody long phone call which I must say was for fantastic conversation ended up doing me a deal I couldn't refuse and saw me back with the LC and a new Friend ( Andy ) .
Funny thing is it was a circle which started from Dubbo went to South Oz then back to Mudgee NSW ,,, The guy who got the LC from me in SA ended up somehow with another LC which believe or not used to belong to Andy ..... Pretty freaky 3 Men and an LC ( no not 2 girls 1 cup or 3 Men and a little lady LOL )
Anyway as Andy says LC's forming friendships and the LC well I think it deserves a rest from the track ... Gonna make a real nice cafe racer ;-).
Cheers
