hi
not riding anything at the moment
had a rg500 in the late 80s and sold when i changed jobs, so now i am assembling a rg500 basket case hence the name. dont know why i think its that relive your youth when your 40

hehehe join the club...
I owned one from brand new for about 6 years and sold it when I moved to a house that didn't have a garage.
Recently bought two RG500s... one almost perfect and original and one modified with USD forks, 17" wheels, etc.
Hope to have one of them on the road fairly soon.

its a bit like first gym class where everyone has to strip down
this one is pretty basic. travelled 300km tp pick it up, good excuse to show the kids the country side
just have to start raiding peoples sheds for leftover rg parts reassemble
hope someone can help
