Heys guys and girls (if there is any on here). ive slowly been trying to restore the engine on my '69 ds6, but i have come across another problem. when i turn the fuel on, one of the carbies is leaking like mad. im not sure what it is? its clean on the inside and all parts are there. i got told if u hold it upside down and blow into the intake u shouldnt be able to breath threw...and it worked. but why is fuel leaking out. any helpers please. its been way too long since i have ridden it and i need to get back on it.

Your float height is wrong or else the float valve is bypassing. Check the level on the good side and compare with the bad side if both are the same then the valve is probally worn. Do you know what the level should be and how to check it?

yeahs the heights seem fine. 25.7mm is what is in the book. so i might take a valve off a spare carby.
