2 Strokes Down Under

Hi I have embarked on an epic journey to mould curved chambers. My old method was to cut and weld cut and weld etc. I have now set a lot of tooling in place to form the chambers from flat sheets. I will be a Mt Gambier after christmas racing and just won the 500 p4 southern classic and 3rd in the 350 southern classic so hopefully I will have a set of nice new chambers for people to see in action( though I havent been to gambier for 12 years so probably up the back), come and find me if your going as I always like to meet other strokers and have a chat. I am trying to fit pipes to suit certain bikes but at the moment can only do my own bikes which is t500 t350 and r5 yamaha which should fit a lot of models but everyone has different peg position etc. I am happy to offer a basic pipe based on cc and rpm for you to fine tune cut and turn, and if you want certain specs let me know and I will try my best to make them. I am not after a fortune but they are good at the moment with a few minor ripples (along the weld seems top and bottom) but are not yet fantastic. I can provide photos to any racer interested and we can work from there. Please if you want show wining chambers dont waste my time as they are really hard to do, they are fully tig welded except the mount brackets which I suggest you bronze on as it stays soft and less likely to crack. Hi Hybrid and others. I am half cold pressing and half hydroforming so the front section is pressed but I have to play with the tooling a bit still and havent got it totally right as yet. I havent got a full set I am ready(and happy enough with) to use as photo set yet but I will post a pick when they are to my standards, they do look a lot better than the cut and shut method thats for sure and will flow the full potential of the designed sizes and volume where as the cut ones always have dead areas right in the corners and alter this flow. I would also like to dyno some to ensure that they perform with good gains down the track. Thanks Link
