idendification needed

1983 RZ350 I have this bracket just located under the battery carrier on the right hand side of the frame that has nuts welded behind it and I am at a loss as to what mounts to this position, can anyone help?

Thats where the adjuster for the rear shock mounts. It has a Vee belt connecting it to the shock.

Is it a Vee Belt or a toothed belt?

Thanks fellas, the shoch has been replaced on the bike, so that is why I was at a loss.

Fred, IIRC, it was toothed.
