I've got a large package to send to Melb, about 1.5 x 1.5 x1m, can anyone suggest a courier service or such, other than AP, which might be a good alternative for a competitive price.
Thanks.

How heavy is it? If it is pallet sized there are quite a few options from transport companies. Is it fragile and well packed?

				It's a top fairing for a GTR1000, so fragile and about 5kg !!!
I said 'local pick up only'

joisus a top fairing and it is 1.5mx1.5mx1m? That would beat HP for over packaging I reckon. The bubble wrap probably weighs more than the fairing.
I reckon your biggest issue is making sure it doesent get crushed.
I have been recommended to this mob:
http://www.saharalogistics.com.au/
by a client but have never used them. The client ships pallets of chemicals etc around the country and reckons the rates are good.

The buyer organised Pack and Post to pick up from my front door - as is.
The way to go.
 .
Cost? I haven't a clue - not my worry

 .
The guy is keen. I offered to 'drop it off' in three weeks minimal charge.

Fark. What's with some people. Are they stupid or just don't' they put effort into thinking, explaining, writing, emailing or is it life itself they don't put effort into?

9 pm and now he tells me he wants me to pack it for tomorrow.
