You're right Ken. I can't imagine it would have looked like that new. A bit of tamperage for some reason?!

if it was on the northside i think id go looky, after spending a couple of years getting to know every nut and bolt on one of these(not necessarily understanding though) i enjoy looking at them, seeing if the owner put their own touch on it etc. at the moment im finding it difficult to believe a lot of folk who describe a bike as original,

I was in Brissy yesterday, I should have gone and kicked the tyres! LOL
It looks pretty good, but the tank stands out like a sore bleedin thumb. Maybe because you pointed it out though... I ain't to observant at the best of times.
I notice on the front guard the 2 nuts on the top forward of the forks. On mine it's the same, and inside the guard is an extra bit of steel bracing that runs forward to this. I've seen a fair few LC's, particulary on the UK sites without it... What's it all about, and why on some and not others?
Cheers
Duncan

Whats with the rear indicators?
The current owner may
think its is original but it is as original as a politician is honest.
I'll watch with interest but its not a $4500 RD

.

Aren't the RD350 decals supposed to be level not on an angle? That seller is very well know in the vintage Jap motorcycle world and to be fair he didnt say it was original

fair call EPA, after reading it again it says original K's,my apolagies to the seller, but Why the mismatched decals? 81 and 82, incorrect placement of yamaha sticker on the sidecovers, muddy without the stripe and a small yamaha sticker on the front of it,, surely the previous or original owner wouldnt change them around like that just for something to do ,would they? IMHO these RD's are starting to be a little bit collectable and will most likely come under a bit more scrutiny in future, still all in all a decent looking bike .
